The room at Big Skies Guesthouse was comfortable, clean, and spacious. the location was fantastic, with shops, restaurants, and the beach within walking distance. the facilities, including the braai area, small kitchen, and lounge, were lovely. the staff, including Connie, Tracey, and Peter, were attentive and catered to every need. the breakfast, particularly the kippers, was delicious. I also had the opportunity to purchase some beautiful earrings.
Felt like royalty, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay.

The hotel is in a prime location, just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. It is also perfectly situated to offer stunning views of both the sea and mountains. The rooms are clean and fresh, and the basic amenities provided include a small "bath" in some rooms. The friendly staff members are always available and willing to assist, and the breakfast served is simply divine.
No negative aspects mentioned - all was great!

Perfect getaway! Breakfast was awesome and had a variety of tasty options. the location was central and was perfect for exploring the city. We enjoyed the extra comforts in the well-equipped rooms. the friendly staff was very helpful.
The bed was not comfortable for me at all; I kept tossing and turning the whole night.

This hotel offers great value for money with its affordable prices and attention to detail. The rooms are spacious and come with all the basic amenities, including a patio with a lovely view of the mountains. I really appreciated the separate kitchenette, which allowed me to prepare my own meals without leaving the room. Additionally, the breakfast served here is absolutely delicious and comes with a stunning view.
All was okay, nothing to complain about.

We had a fantastic stay in the Gordons Bay area, with hosts who made us feel right at home. the location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and close to great restaurants. the rooms were spacious, with comfortable beds and a/c. Tracy, our knowledgeable host, gave us great recommendations for tours and dining options nearby. the breakfast served with a smile by Connie was superb. We especially loved the pool and braai area, and the towels provided for the poolside. It truly felt like a home away from home.
The TV channels in the connected areas/rooms had a minor issue where half of the screen was obstructed by an information ribbon during a football match.

All was well during my stay at this hotel.

The location is great, near the beach and restaurants, and the communal area is right next to the rooms. the room and bathroom are well-equipped, and the breakfast is freshly made every morning. the lodge also has a small and clean pool.
The honesty bar was lacking in options, and the pricing was a bit high.

Despite the bugs, the people here were friendly and accommodating. The location was good with easy access to the beach. The breakfast was the best part with an array of dishes and drinks for everyone.
The room was not thoroughly cleaned as the towels were not changed and the dustbins were not emptied. The decor is outdated, which takes away from the overall ambiance.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
